Yes, and sadly the first accident was a fatal one. It happens there seems to be some design flaws of some of these vehicles when certain conditions occur that could literally turn the cars blind. Direct glare of the sunlight coupled with obstacles in white color could apparently make the vehicle blind as preliminary appraisal of the immediate cause of an accident involving Joshua Brown driving a Tesla S and a trailer making a turn on the highway as reported by the Guardian shows. The car not only failed to apply the brakes before the impact but continued going after the accident.
